Hi, just had to drop you a note to tell you how much we all LOVED your villa last week. Have been coming to St. John for 24 years, we LOVE the island and must say your home was the best EVER!! We were a group of six couples (family) and we were just blown away by the attention to every detail in your beautiful home!!! Best Family vacation ever. Shout out to Ellis who was incredibly responsive whenever we needed him, he is so great. Also, your kitchen is the best I have ever seen!!!! btw, your landscape is to die for, just spectacular!!!I could ramble on for pages about how much and why we loved Mare Blu, but suffice it to say, it is FABULOUS and crossing our fingers we can hit the repeat button next year!!!!Many Thanks Read More...

Elegant, comfortable, well-designed and well-appointed are just a few of the characteristics of Mare Blu on St. John. Our extended family - ranging in age from early teens to mid-seventies - had a wonderful time. The pool is both beautiful and useful for lap swimming and playing. The well-designed and well-supplied kitchen allowed the chefs, sous-chefs, and grill masters to express themselves. Cable and Wi-Fi allow connection - if desired - to the outside world. The villa owner and the house manager were available, attentive and very helpful. The design of the villa allows for privacy, for view-watching and for multiple simultaneous, non-interfering activities. There are lovely places to sit and take in the view, read or do puzzles. Although a few weeks have passed since our vacation at Mare Blu, the peaceful atmosphere, the elegant accommodations and the beautiful vistas are still top of mind. Read More...

My sweet husband rented Mare Blu in March to celebrate my milestone birthday. Mare Blu had more than enough room for our group of 12 adults, plus our one year old grandson and 3 year old cousin. We have rented villas all over the US, South America and for 30 years in St. John. I cannot recall another villa that was as well laid out and well furnished as Mare Blu. All bedrooms are en-suite, and the bedrooms were large enough to accommodate a crib in one and an air mattress for the 3 year old in another. A couple bedrooms had ample private balconies to allow space for those who needed it to conduct business or simply unwind. Mare Blu is graciously furnished with everything you and your guests will need. Plenty of towels and beach towels, bottles of great toiletries, beach chairs and pool toys. Even laundry detergent for your first loads of swim suites from a delightful day at the beach. We had an issue with the air conditioning in one room the first night, and Teri sent over an expert late on Saturday night to help. Kristin, the house manager, went above and beyond to ensure that everything was perfect, and was a delight to talk to. We really appreciated the 5 star service! Can't say enough wonderful things about our stay at Mare Blu. This was our 5th trip to St. John with a group of 10 people. Mare Blu is easily the most serene, equipped, modern and luxurious villa we've visited. From the library of DVD's, to the outdoor grill and seating areas, to the gourmet kitchen and wonderful no chlorine infinity pool, every thing was top rate. Mare Blu proved to be the perfect home for our family to celebrate Thanksgiving 2015. We have visited St. John before, and this trip was by far the most memorable and luxurious. The villa was close enough to town but far enough to provide seclusion and a gorgeous view of the bay. The villa itself was very well appointed from the kitchen to entertainment, offering everything you might need. I was able to easily prepare meals that we enjoyed around the large dining table. The second outdoor kitchen area and outdoor fridge drawers were terrific. The spacious guest suites allowed everyone to retreat to their own space if they wanted privacy or alone time. There was ample room for our family of 9 adults! The beautiful pool was also a huge hit. Teri was wonderful to work with and always answered my questions promptly.
