Pictures can't do this fabulous villa justice! Everything is absolutely perfect from the amazing lounge chairs by the infinity pool to the decor and artwork. This contemporary villa is made for relaxation in the best of style. The bedrooms are super comfortable, the linens are plush, each bedroom has its own private bath and doors you can open to feel the ocean breezes. The kitchens, both outdoor and indoor are expertly stocked with all necessities. The entertainment system is great and adds to the overall experience. One of our favorite things about Mare Blu is that from every room and the patio the view of the Caribbean is spectacular. We can't say enough about the vacation we had at Mare Blu. FANTASTIC FAMILY RENTAL!!! This gorgeous house was very spacious and extremely well equipped-perfect for our extended family vacation. The outdoor living spaces were wonderful for enjoying the incredible views and island breezes-we ate every meal outside. The design, decor and furnishings were top notch-it was clear that much thought went into every design decision. The kitchen was amazing, perfectly planned and equipped with everything we needed to create delicious meals. We loved spending time in the pool and lounge area. The villa is perfectly situated close to town and beaches. This was our ninth family trip to St. John-we have stayed in nine different villas on St. John and this one was our favorite!!! FABULOUS Our vacation at Mare Blu was fabulous! We had six couples from South Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Colorado and Washington. We all had a fantastic time. The villa is large almost like a small boutique hotel. Finding privacy when desired was no problem. The gathering spaces were spacious and well appointed. We spent most mornings at the beautiful beaches on the north side of the island. Most afternoons we spent relaxing around the huge pool. regardless of where you stood in the villa the views were spectacular. OUTSTANDING WEEK at Mare Blu We have stayed in a number of villas during our many visits to St. John. I believe that Mare Blu was one of the best, if not the best villa we have ever stayed in. To begin with, the Views are fantastic. Even the ubiquitous telephone wire didn't get in the way. The place is well equipped with tableware, glassware, water toys, beach chairs, etc.. The villa is in a good location, close to town. It was very clean.There are two large common areas for our group to all get together. And most importantly, the beds were GREAT! We had nine people in our group: seniors, adults, a teenager and kids. There is a choice of bedrooms, so that the seniors didn't have to climb a lot of stairs and people can be isolated when they want to be. We were there during Carnival week and ate in a few nights. We spent a week with our family at this wonderful villa during the Christmas and New Year holidays. The accommodations were fantastic, and the view was spectacular. In January, my husband and I spent a week at Mare Blu with several other couples. I was absolutely awestruck the first time I set foot in this striking vacation home. Everywhere you look there are spectacular ocean views framed in brilliant color by a rambling garden of native plants. These stunning views not only extended to our bedroom with the private screened porch but beyond to our luxurious bathroom with the outdoor shower. Every room is beautifully furnished and decorated yet sill inviting and comfortable. And you can't have too many cooks in the kitchen here. The kitchen is big, beautiful and has every imaginable moder convenience, including two dishwashers and every pot, pan, gadget, and utensil one could ever need or want..and then some. I loved this kitchen so much that it actually inspired me to bake on my vacation, an unprecedented event. At the center of Mare Blu is an enormous outdoor patio filled with cozy lounge chairs, chaises and couches We spent much of our time in this wonderful space...reading, swimming, eating and socializing while taking in the beauty of the Caribbean. My husband, beer in hand, found his personal heaven-on-earth while watching football on the outdoor big screen from a float in the pool. "It doesn't get better than this" he said. Amazing The house was amazing and we loved that there were so many fans to keep you comfortable during afternoons in the outdoor living spaces, and they have the comfiest beds for the best naps. Our family of 13 loved Mare Blu Villa. We stayed a total of 13 nights (my husband and I 4 nights earlier than the rest) and everyone was sad to leave.We had so much space and loved the beautiful views wherever you happened to be on the property.
