Mare Blu provided a beautiful, serene setting for our recent 50th anniversary celebration with family. The manager met us promptly upon arrival and made us immediately feel at home. The villa was luxurious and so well-appointed that it would be difficult to want anything more. The large outdoor dining and indoor living areas created an atmosphere in which our family was able to enjoy memorable conversations and meals together without interruptions. And, the opportunity to enjoy a cup of early-morning coffee on the patio or to swim under the stars in a pool overlooking the ocean was priceless. The downside of this trip was that it was far too short. A week just wasn't long enough to fully experience the beautiful scenery and uncrowded beaches that St. John has to offer. Can't say enough wonderful things about our stay at Mare Blu. This was our 5th trip to St. John with a group of 10 people. Mare Blu is easily the most serene, equipped, modern and luxurious villa we've visited. From the library of DVD's, to the outdoor grill and seating areas, to the gourmet kitchen and wonderful no chlorine infinity pool, every thing was top rate. Our time at Mare Blu was perfect and amazingly restful. The main house living area was very comfortable and the kitchen is probably better appointed than your own home with drink glasses, plates, bowls and cutlery for every taste, shape and size. We seldomly went to town and did our cooking, drinking and concocting at the villa. The kitchen and outdoor cooking area, complete with its own set of plastic break proof glasses and cooking utensils, made staying in a pleasure. In the evening we put the kids to bed and played cards in the various outdoor lounges and listened to music or just the natural surrounding chirping away. The bed rooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms are all beautiful. I opted for the outdoor showers most days. In regards to hosts, Teri was amazingly attentive during the booking phase, in the weeks leading up to departure and she even called on the second day to be sure we were enjoying ourselves and to answer any questions. In regards to the onsite property manager, Justin, all I can say is he is worth every dime. Justin met us at our boat, led us to Mare Blu and spent an hour walking the property with us to show us all of the nooks and crannies. Throughout the week we had a few questions and Justin would give us info or go about helping us track down what we were looking for. "You want lobsters? I know a fishing boat captain. Pictures can't do this fabulous villa justice! Everything is absolutely perfect from the amazing lounge chairs by the infinity pool to the decor and artwork. This contemporary villa is made for relaxation in the best of style. The bedrooms are super comfortable, the linens are plush, each bedroom has its own private bath and doors you can open to feel the ocean breezes. The kitchens, both outdoor and indoor are expertly stocked with all necessities. The entertainment system is great and adds to the overall experience. One of our favorite things about Mare Blu is that from every room and the patio the view of the Caribbean is spectacular. We can't say enough about the vacation we had at Mare Blu. As if the fabulous house and great location on St. John isn't enough, the landscaping is awesome, too. We even had fresh limes from the tree in our drinks. Beautiful Villa with AMAZING view! We fell in love with St. John and LOVED everything about Mare Blu. From the colorful decor, furnishings, location and view, this property lived up ans surpassed every expectation we had. The layout of the home was perfect for our group of 4 couples(family). Teri, we just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our vacation and appreciate you sharing your wonderful vacation home with our group the week of June 14. All of your suggestions about places to go and shops to visit were right on target. We had a wonderful vacation at Mare Blu celebrating my husband's retirement! We had 6 adults and 4 children ages 3-6 and had such a good experience here. We had everything we needed and of course had the beautiful view! There was plenty of room for individual family time, but we were mainly together in the common areas... outdoor kitchen area, pool, and gathering areas. Terri could not have been more helpful. We had some dinners in, but two adult dinners out with babysitters and of course some family meals out. We enjoyed the beaches, hikes and local establishments and St. John vibe. We also did two boat trips, 4 hour day trip and 2 hour sunset sail. This was a great family vacation at a special place with a wonderful host! Read More...

Hi Guys I hope you are doing well. We are in St. John this week and drive by Mare Blu everyday as the house we rented is past Mare Blu. We are a group of 17 people. Same group as last year plus one additional family. We are having a great time, but DEFINITELY MISS Mare Blu. The house we rented is called Eco Serendib. I have just returned from a week in Paradise! I travelled with a group of 6 couples to Mare Blue in May of 2018. We were a little nervous, being post-hurricane, but I have to say Mare Blu was exactly as I had remembered from my first visit in 2014. The villa is beautiful, and perfectly appointed for a group of 12. The people of St John were welcoming and the beaches beautiful. We took advantage of so much...diving trips, fishing trips, island hopping and of course shopping! My advise is to go and enjoy all the island has to offer. Our 8th family vacation to St John was made extra special with our stay at Mare Blu. Our group includes 7 adults and 5 children age 8 and under and we thoroughly enjoyed your beautiful villa. The pool, the outside kitchen, TV and dining made for great family together time.
